Bahamas Wedding Planning - Pre-wedding Visit

On Thursday and Friday of last week, I had the pleasure of meeting with a bride, Sandy, and her fiance, Salvador, who were on Grand Bahama Island  for a pre-wedding visit.

The couple stayed at Pelican Bay at Lucaya for three nights.  We met the afternoon on the day that they arrived.   After chatting about their vision and style for their 2013 wedding, we got to the task of looking around ... hotel rooms, outdoor spaces, balcony, etc.

That evening, Sandy and Salvador explored Port Lucaya Marketplace where they had dinner.  Later, they  took in the casino, located across the street from Port Lucaya and Pelican Bay.

On day two, we toured the private and secluded Spanish Main Beach venue for Sandy and Salvador's Bahamas Wedding, Tony Macaroni's on Taino Beach, a fun outdoor experience and a great venue for a welcome event, Taino by the Sea where a very popular bonfire takes place on a Friday evening and Senses Spa, Grand Lucayan.  We then headed back to Pelican Bay for a food tasting by Chef Emmanuel Smith.  The couple found this amazing.

The remainder of the weekend was spent looking around further, relaxing and enjoying the beaches and night life.

Doing a pre-wedding visit, when schedule permits, is a great way to get to know your wedding planner and the destination where your wedding is scheduled to take place. Chic Bahamas Weddings hosts only one wedding a day and would be happy to help you with your wedding planning and design.  Many wedding packages are available here for you to choose from.
