The Vision Airways new service commenced this November and offers competitively priced direct service to Grand Bahama. Flight times average two hours with the exception Fort Lauderdale which is a short hop. Cities being serviced are:
· Raleigh Durham Airport (RDU) on Mondays and Fridays
· Richmond Airport (RIC ) on Mondays and Fridays
· Baltimore Washington Airport on Sundays and Thursdays
· Louisville Airport on Sundays and Thursdays
· Fort Lauderdale Airport to Grand Bahama Island on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays
Other airlines flying into Grand Bahama Island for weddings in the Bahamas are American Eagle from Miami, Bahamasair from Fort Lauderdale, Gulfstream from Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach, US Air from Charlotte and West Jet from Toronto (seasonal).
