Destination Weddings Bahamas are special at Turquoise Cay Boutique Hotel, Exuma.  I've just returned from the most blissful three-night stay at this one of a kind luxury hotel and am in the mood to host my Renewal of Vows at this elegant setting!

Ensconced at this beautiful location, I awakened each morning to stunning sunrises and finished the day with gorgeous sunsets as the moon popped out.  Surprise amenities at every touch point, attentive, friendly staff, lovely accommodation and exquisite cuisine made it challenging to leave Turquoise Cay.

Personalized Welcome

Arriving at reception, a smiling team associate, Monique, greeted me with a cold towel followed by the most delicious fruit punch served on a tray as I arrived at Turquoise Cay. I proceeded to a very easy check-in.  Monique then escorted to my corner upper level room - Aqua.  Every room carries a charming name ... they all have water views.

Dining poolside at lunch time, I had a wonderful sweet and sour Eggplant dish - so good.
At dinner, after a hard day's work, I dined at One80 Restaurant and enjoyed a Greek Pizza as a starter and a Duck Magret with potatoes for a main course ... exquisite.

Bahamas Wedding - Pelican Bay Hotel

Amy LoVallo and Frank Bates tied the knot at an intimate beach wedding at Pelican Bay Hotel, Grand Bahama Island June 4, 2013.  Eight guests, including the bride and groom, shared this intimate affair ... Amy and Frank's dream.  Ferried to Spanish Main beach via ferry boat, guests disembarked as the boat pushed up on to powdery white sand to await the bride, who arrived via limousine.  Methodist minister, the Rev. Dr. Emmette J. Weir performed the ceremony.

Friends who the groom's sister met on a diving trip on Grand Bahama Island, were offshore guests at the wedding and viewed the ceremony from their boat.  As the couple exchanged vows, all men on the boat stood in pledge of allegiance fashion.  How special!   Then, at the end of the ceremony, as Amy and Frank shared a Champagne toast, the new found friends played Etta James' At Last.
